Ausstellung `Wohnung Suderland`/ Festung Ehrenbreitstein/ Koblenz. Exhibition `Apartment Suderland`/ Fortress Ehrenbreitstein/ Koblenz

Seit den 1940er Jahren wohnten Menschen in der Festung. Die rekonstruierte `Wohnung Suderland` aus den 1950er Jahren im Bereich des Ravelin dokumentiert die Nutzung der Festung in der Nachkriegszeit auch als Wohnraum. Die Wohnung ist mit zahlreichen original-Möbeln erhalten. Von der Wohnung führt eine Treppe zum ebenfalls rekonstruierten Selbstversorger-Garten auf dem Dach des Ravelin. Since the 1940s People lived in the Fortress. The reconstructed `Apartment Suderland` from the 1950s shows the Living Culture and how the Fortress was used as housing space in the postwar Period. The Apartment lays in the Area of the Ravelin. The Domicile is conserved with original pieces of furniture. From the Apartment a Stair guides upstairs to the reconstructed self-use-Garden on Top of the Ravelin. Just being so proud and happy to become a Part of an Exhibition in the Musée 16 in Los Angeles/California. A Facebook Friend asked be if i´d like to show 3 of my `Babies` in Febuary/March 2012. Of course i had not to think about that for a Second and said : "yes,yes,yes" :)) . Now my Collages have arrived after a big Journey - that took 6-8 Weeks over an Ocean. Ich bin glücklich und stolz sagen zu dürfen, daß 3 meiner Collagen Teil einer Ausstellung in Los Angeles/Californien im Musée 16 sein werden. Sie hatten eine lange Reise von 6-8 Wochen (!?) hinter sich und haben am Montag CA erreicht! Einer meiner virtuellen Facebook FreundInnen fragte mich diesbezüglich an.
